WELCOME
I am a Graphic and Web Designer, currently attending the University of Toronto at Scarborough (UTSC) in the New Media and Fine Arts Program.
Ever since I was a small boy, I was fascinated with fictional characters. Characters have backgrounds, purposes, and traits that suit their role in a story. They can be based on an actual person, or they can be purely imaginary. Whatever the case, characters are composed of influential events and inherent traits that form their natural behaviours.
My work takes inspiration from this concept of character. Whether I am designing actual characters with stories and backgrounds, or designing a layout that suits particular goals and targets, the model of a character creates these designs. A design takes account the purpose of the work, and how it interacts with other work and the audience. As such, a design can also be a character that fulfills the required role.
